• Upon arriving in David, we took a bus to Santiago, it cost us $ 9 and it took 3:15 hours. The hours are from 6:35 am to 12 am. and leave every 15 to 30 min.

• From Santiago to Chitré, the bus lasted 1.30 h. and its price was $ 3, it goes out every 30 min. from 5.30 am to 20:00.

• In Chitré take a bus to Las Tablas, it took 1:30 h. and cost $ 1.5. This bus leaves every 15 min. but the buses are very old and we had many problems taking it, it is that we travel with super large suitcases and there were buses that told us that there was no space for the luggage, until we begged the third driver who refused to take us please . And well, sir, he took pity on us.

• The last bus is from Las Tablas to Playa Venao costs $ 4 and takes 2 hours, but there is only one that leaves at 1.30 pm so secure your site and leave Boquete as soon as possible. What things to do in Playa Venao?

The main thing we did at Playa Venao is the Sonic techno event. Tickets cost us $ 40, but because we bought them a month before or more, because if you wait longer, tickets can go up to $ 80. The event was beautiful, but did not include alcoholic beverages, and well the festival lasted 4 days (from 11/07-14 / 07). If you like techno, well you should definitely come to this party. Other places to party ?, well, the days that we really went to everyone at Playa Venao went to the Sonic party, we heard that the weeks that there is not this event Selina offers a party at its bar. Without more or less, there are no more places for parties, as we say Playa Venao is a quiet and small place. Other activities you can do is go to Isla Iguana, and of course surf !! The waves here are perfect for surfing travelers.

Where to sleep in Playa Venao?

Well among the hostels we found in Hostelword, we only found 3:

• Selina Hostel. We are faithful backpackers of Selina but this time we did not stay here since the prices of the cheapest room was $ 35 pp. This we assume was for the event, many tourists hungry for music and alcohol! But on other dates the cheapest room is $ 15. You definitely have to visit this hostel is one of the most beautiful and thematic of all the selinas we visited.

• Tipi Hostel. This hostel is also very beautiful and is 5 minutes walk from the center of Playa Venao, the cost was $ 15, the cheapest room. Nor did we stay here because the beds were sold out, unfortunately but true, go on event dates you must book rooms in advance.

• Finally where we stayed was Venao Cove. It cost us $ 10 pp and the bad thing about this hostel was its location, it was about 30 minutes walking to the center. Well yes, traveling friends, every day we walked 30 min round trip to go to the party or to eat. The place is lonely, there is nothing around which is relaxing but there are no taxis in Playa Venao and walking on the road is a bit dangerous because there is no lighting so they can run over you, so the only way is the beach which is cool , but tired if you are having drinks on top and tired of the tremendous party. Anyway, if you want something cheap Venao Cove is the best option!

When you arrive there are also other hostel and hotels around are few but there are no worries. What we advise you is to know well where they will spend the night before arriving because Playa Venao has difficulty moving from one place to another if you have luggage and at dusk good you can not see very well because there is little lighting.

What to eat hungry travellers?

We like rich and cheap rich food. The three things can not be obtained in Playa Venao, here unfortunately there are no funds like anywhere else in Panama, and well as you know the funds are the cheapest places in Panama. • Coleos is an Israeli food restaurant, we loved the dishes !! Prices are between $ 8-15.
